NFU Mutual 55 and Over Pairs

Teams from Hertfordshire and Huntingdonshire will contest this afternoon's final of the Bowls England 55 & Over Pairs competition, sponsored by NFU Mutual, at Beach House Park, Worthing.

Donald Sheriff and Peter Adams from Royston BC, Hertfordshire, beat Berkshire's Stewart Wright (Maidenhead Town) and Gordon Knapper (Desborough) 23-17.

In the other semi-final, Roger Martin and Tony Scarr from Perkins BC, Huntingdonshire, beat Northumberland's Bill Pym (Cramlington) and John Cleverley (St Georges Hospital) 26-13.
