Cornwall win Middleton Cup
Cornwall have won the men's inter-county championship, the Middleton Cup, for the first time after beating Yorkshire 128-103 in today's final at Beach House Park, Worthing.
Cornwall reached the final thanks to a 123-105 win against Hampshire. In the other semi-final Yorkshire prevented Devon's bid for a third successive title with a comprehensive 24- shot victory.
For Yorkshire this was their first Middleton Cup final since they won the trophy in 1990. Cornwall lost in the final in 1992 to Norfolk.
