Rules for Bowls England National Championships and National Competitions
The following is an extract from the Bowls England Rules and Regulations. Please note Final Stages of Competitions include Regional Finals.
Bowls England Regulations No 50: Bowls England National Championships
6. Bowls
6.1 In the early stages when no umpire is present, the onus of checking the date stamp on bowls rests with the opposing player or players concerned.
6.2 For rounds leading to the final stages of the National Championships, Bowls England Domestic Regulation 2, Law 8.2.3 in the Laws of the Sport of Bowls Crystal Mark Edition applies.
6.3 Should a player wish to challenge the suitability of their opponent’s bowls (see Bowls England Domestic Regulation 2, Law 8.3.4 in the ‘Laws of the Sport of Bowls Crystal Mark Edition’) the fee lodged will be £50.
Bowls England Regulations No 51: Men’s National Championships – Final Stages
1.6 At the final stages of all National Championships all bowls must bear a stamp in accordance with the current Laws of the Sport of Bowls, Crystal Mark Edition – Law No. 9.

1.6 At the final stages of all National Championships all bowls must bear a stamp in accordance with the current Laws of the Sport of Bowls, Crystal Mark Edition – Law No. 9.

6. Bowls
