Johnson names favourite Commonwealth Games sport

Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited Alexander Stadium in Birmingham on Thursday as preparations for the Commonwealth Games are in full swing. The Games are now 73 days away and the Prime Minister was given a preview of what can be expected this summer. Boris Johnson went on to share what his favourite Commonwealth Games sport is.

“I like the sound of these lawn bowls, which is about my level really. It’s not quite true, I play lots of stuff,” he said.”

“I’m thrilled to hear about lawn bowls, the globe is going to be tuned into lawn bowls at Leamington Spa around the world.”
