It was a special night at the Aviva Champions Dinner, as 270 guests celebrated the success of the winners and finalists from the 2024 Aviva National Finals.
The day began with our annual Counties Conference, where county representatives gathered for discussions on sports governance, creating safeguarding cultures within the sport, our strategy for 2026 and beyond and the day concluded with the County of the Year Shortlist. A particular highlight was the ‘Governing a Sport in the 2020’s’ session, delivered from our keynote speaker, Janice Shardlow (Director of Governance, Commonwealth Sport Federation).
County representatives then dressed up and took their places at the Aviva Champions Dinner, hosted at The DoubleTree by Hilton in Coventry. the evening was the perfect end to what has been a remarkable outdoor season and provided opportunity for friends and families of winners and finalists to come together and celebrate their outstanding achievements.
Throughout the evening guests had the opportunity to have professional photographs in front of the media backdrop with family and friends. Photos were also taken around the stage and tables during the night. You can now view all of the photos from the evening and purchase a digital copy to commemorate the special evening.
