Bowls England is pleased to announce invitees to the upcoming International Squad Day on Sunday 7 June and the National Junior Talent Day on Sunday 5 July.
The International Squad Day will see invitees for Men’s, Women’s, Under-18s and Para players attend sessions with teams selected for their respective British Bowls events.
Following the successful Regional Talent ID events which took place at various clubs across the country earlier this month, 32 players have been invited to take part in the National Junior Talent Day, which forms an important event within our Talent Pathway Programme that has received funding support from Sport England.
Plans for the Under-25 International Squad Day on Sunday 5 July will be announced soon, and will include consideration of players at the White Rose Trophy and Amy Rose Bowl.
This international programme, alongside the upcoming Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, will look to inspire a new generation of bowlers.
Through our Bowls’ Big Summer campaign, clubs will be hosting various open days and sessions and will have several casual bowls sessions available to book on Play-Bowls.com.
