Following the curtailment of the Para Pairs qualifying competition on Sunday 21 June, after a section of tree fell onto A Green, Bowls England has carefully reviewed the options available to fairly conclude qualification for the National Bowls Finals.

In reaching a decision, we considered player availability, the geographical spread of competitors, and the potential travel and accommodation costs associated with arranging a separate date.

As a result, the remaining group-stage fixtures in Groups A–E will now be played during the National Bowls Finals on 17 August, with quarter-finals taking place later the same day.

This approach ensures all teams retain the opportunity to complete qualification while minimising additional disruption and expense. Limited substitution provisions have been introduced where necessary to support participation.

Group F was completed on the day of competition, and Rhys Lewis and Aaron Langley have secured direct progression to the quarter-finals as group winners.

The tree has now been cut down by Warwick District Council and remedial work to the playing area is underway with one rink currently out of use.
