Winning the National Under 25 Singles.
MOST MEMORABLE MATCH & WHY:
The Under 25 Singles final was memorable as it was my first National title. Also, when I played against Tom McGuinness in the Champion of Champions home and away as both games were entertaining and were great games to watch.
My Game
FIRST EXPERIENCE:
My first experience was when a local club (Broadway) opened up nearby to where I live, my grandad wanted to have a go and so do did the rest of my family. I was hesitant at first but then I decided to try it and haven’t looked back ever since.
FAVOURITE DISCIPLINE:
Easily Singles as it’s fast paced and its improved my game drastically.
STRENGTHS:
- Draw shot when leading
- Firing – can play a good running shot most times
- Keeping cool under pressure
- Never giving up in singles no matter the score
- Motivation to practice especially singles games
BEST FRIENDS IN BOWLS:
Thomas Jaycock, Roger Crick and Paul Rogers.
The Future
ASPIRATIONS:
To win the National Men’s Singles title and to be selected for the Senior England team.
