We can’t wait to welcome spectators to Victoria Park for the upcoming British Bowls Championships and International Series. Here’s some helpful information about the event.

Getting Here

Arriving by Car

There is no event car park for the British Bowls event. There are numerous council-owned car parks within the local area, please click here for more information. For Satnav users, you can use CV31 3PT to get towards the venue and follow local signage for parking once in the vicinity of the venue.

Please note, there will be no parking available on Archery Road or the Old Tennis Courts Car Park and restrictions will be in place.

Arriving by Train

Leamington Spa Train Station is a 10–15-minute walk from Victoria Park, situated on Old Warwick Road.

Gates will be open from 8.30am daily, with access to the venue via the gate opposite ‘The Cricketers’ pub on Archery Road. Please have your tickets ready on a mobile device.

If a member(s) of your party has not yet registered for tickets they will be required to register at the gates. To ensure you are not delayed entering the event, please register in advance by clicking here.

One of our helpful volunteers will be at the gate at the start of the event, look out for them in their red volunteer polo shirts.

Our event programme is the perfect way to follow along with the Championship and International Series, with room to complete the scores, and team lists for each nation. Programmes may be purchased on-site for just £3, with all profits going directly to our Junior Development Programme – supporting the junior pathway and increasing youth participation.

Programmes can be purchased at the entry gate and from the tournament office.

We will also be collecting donations throughout the event for the Junior Development Programme, should you wish to contribute.

Event Cups

As part of our collective responsibility to be more sustainable, we are pleased to introduce reusable event cups for our events at Victoria Park.

There will be a £1 levy added to your first drinks purchase, and cups can be exchanged for a new one with each additional purchase. A cup refund scheme will not be in operation.

Food and Drink

The Royal Leamington Spa Clubhouse and Swirls café will be serving refreshments throughout the day. The clubhouse bar will open from 11am – close and Swirls café will be from 8.30am – 8pm.

The current forecast suggests light rain and some sunshine over the course of the event however, with the nature of the British weather, this is likely to change many times! With little shelter available at the venue, please be prepared for all weather eventualities and bring with you an umbrella and some suncream.
