Both players bringing experience and leadership that will be crucial in guiding the squad through the competition. Junior Managers Nicole Bowe and Stuart Thomas will oversee the squad, ensuring that the players are well-prepared and ready for the occasion.
Men’s captain Tom Holmes said, “I can’t wait for the weekend away with the junior squad in Belfast! There is a few new caps this year but they all have a lot of experience already at such a high level. I’m not worried at all about how the lads will settle in on the weekend. They know what to expect from this Series and will be fully prepared going into it!
“The girls are in safe hands with Chloe [Brett] leading them out, she will no doubt be one of the standout players of the weekend. The women have got such a great depth of players in every position so I am positive they will get the job done on their side!
“We need to get out of the gates quick with a good win over Wales and then become the front runners for the title. It’s been too long since England have brought this title back where it belongs so we’re going to get it done this weekend.”
International Managers Kirk Smith and Sandy Hazell will also be attending to support the Under 25s.
