Our Under 18 International Squad are making their way to Ebbw Vale BC in Wales for the British Isles Under 18 International Series, starting tomorrow (Saturday 5th August), and concluding on Sunday 6th August.
The 12-strong team were selected following the Junior Squad Day held at Victoria Park, royal Leamington Spa, on Sunday 9th July.
Our England team will face Scotland, Wales and Ireland over the course of 6 sessions, competing in a series of mixed disciplines, including 3 Bowl Pairs (18 ends), 2 Bowls Triples (18 ends) and 2 Bowl Fours (15 ends) – kick starting their campaign against Scotland, when Session One begins at 9.15am.
All players will be presented with International kit to wear at the event, featuring principal partner, Aviva, and produced by long-standing partner, Aceit.
Under 18s team Manager, Nicola Bowe, leads the charge, supporting the team throughout the event. U18s Coach, Mal Evans, will be in attendance keeping a watchful eye on play.
