Hertfordshire

Hertfordshire County Bowling Association was founded in 1920 and was followed by Hertfordshire County Women’s Association in 1936. The two associations unified to become Hertfordshire Bowls in 2010.

Hertfordshire Bowls is affiliated to Bowls England . We are also affiliated to the Eastern Counties Bowls Association.

Hertfordshire provided Bowls England with their President in 2015, our Executive Secretary Marcia Dunstone.

Our members compete at the highest level and we can boast that we have had members in the later stages of National Championships regularly over many years.

You will find the various leagues, national, county and domestic competitions, county fixtures, teams and results. Alongside these we have some of our past records and honours.

In Hertfordshire we have 73 Clubs, most of whom have both Men and Ladies as members. Our bowlers can be from ages 10-90 years of age.
