Our 10-strong squad are heading to Ayr, Scotland for the 2024 European Championships, taking place from Tuesday 3rd to Sunday 8th September.
England won six European medals, including three gold medals, two silver medals, and one bronze medal, and the Overall Team Trophy at the event in 2022 – you can look back at the 2022 European Championships report here.
The squad features players who enjoyed successful campaigns at the Aviva National Finals.
The selected men’s team includes two new caps – Nick Wardle (Leicestershire) and Jack Emmerson (Nottinghamshire) – plus recalls to England colours for Andrew Briden (Buckinghamshire) and Martin Spencer (Lincolnshire). Joe Dawson (Leicestershire), who won the Men’s Champion of Champions singles, completes the men’s team.
The women’s line-up includes Mixed Pairs winner Amy Pharaoh (Lincolnshire), who will lead a team including Devon teammates Nicole Rogers and Harriet Stevens, plus Ruby Hill (Lincolnshire) and Women’s Fours and Junior Pairs winner Emily Kernick (Warwickshire).
