How do I purchase tickets
We are delighted to offer tickets for the British Isles Bowls event free of charge, however you  do need to register in advance of the event to access tickets. Please click here to register.

Can I turn up on the day?
Yes, you can turn up on the day but there might be queues and you’ll still be required to register online, so we would recommend registering for your ticket in advance, you can register via clicking here.

How do I find out the schedule on each day?
The British Isles schedule will be released shortly, updates will be via the Bowls England website, social media channels or in The Jack newsletter. To sign up to The Jack and be the first to hear about British Isles news please click here.

Are children allowed to the event?
Yes, we’d encourage you to bring your children and families down to enjoy a day of international bowls and support your England team.  

Where can I park?

The best car park for the event is located near Leamington train station, approximately a 12 minute walk away from the venue, with all day parking for £3

Is there disabled car parking available?

There is limited on street parking on Archery Road however restrictions are in place, there is also limited parking in The Old Tennis Court Car Park for disabled visitors.

What is the difference between the British Isles Championships and British Isles Series?

The British Isles Championships are the National Champions from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Jersey battling it out between Wednesday 26th – Thursday 27th June. 

The British Isles series is slightly different as each competing nation, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Jersey will have selected their international team based on last seasons performances and trials at the start of this season.

Will there be seating available?

There will be a limited number of seats available at the venue. Spectators are encouraged to bring their  own chairs. 

Is there food concessions and a bar on site?

There is a café on site providing a range of food and drink items and the clubhouse bar will also be open to serve lunches and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Can I bring my own food & drink into the venue?

Yes, you can bring food and non-alcoholic drinks into the venue. However, we do reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone deemed too intoxicated and you may be asked to leave the venue.

Can I refill my water bottle on site?

Yes, water coolers will be available for your use at the venue.

What happens in the case of bad weather – does play continue and is there any cover available?

Play will normally continue unless there is extreme weather. Victoria Park is an open air venue so ensure you bring sun hats, sun cream and umbrellas. 

Can I vape or smoke onsite?

We ask that you are respectful of players and other spectators if vaping or smoking at the event and do not do so around other.  

Can I bring my dog?

 Yes, dogs are welcome to attend the British Isles. Please ensure that dogs are kept on their leads at all times and note that owners are responsible for their dogs at all times.

Victoria Park is based in the heart of Royal Leamington Spa. Our Town Centre location makes us accessible both by car and public transport methods.

By Road

Victoria Park is ideally situated for ease of travel by car, with links to major UK motorway networks. The venue is located approximately 5 miles from junctions 13 and 14 of the M40, 4 miles from the A46 and 11 miles from the M45. Routes via the M6 (J4a) are also accessible from the North, with clear signage for Royal Leamington Spa. 

There is no spectator parking at the venue, spectators are asked to part at:

By Train

Situated on the Old Warwick Road, the train station is only a 3-minute drive and 10-minute walk from the venue. There are many direct trains to Royal Leamington Spa from many major neighbouring towns and cities such as:  

Coventry – 11 minutes 

Banbury – 17 minutes 

Birmingham International – 21 minutes 

Birmingham – 25 minutes 

London Marylebone – 1 hour 15 minutes

By Bus

There are several bus services which run to and from the town centre bus centre, with links to a number of major neighbouring towns and cities. For more details on bus routes and timetables please visit Warwickshire County Council or National Express.
