Sport England has teamed up with Crowdfunder to make £1 million of match funding available to help the sport and physical activity sector through the ongoing coronavirus.
This investment aims to help community sport and physical activity organisations who are experiencing short term financial hardship or the ceasing of operations due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
The match investment, of up to £10,000, aims to help organisations start to help themselves on the road to recovery, and we are encouraging all Clubs who play an important role in keeping their community physically active to get involved.
We are encouraging clubs to use this opportunity to improve accessibility to equipment to such as a bowling arm, or even a set of New Age bowls or small bowls to assist with a youth bowling section.

Crowdfunder is delivering a series of free sport specific webinars and funding courses, being to support this initiative as well as a dedicated ‘Crowdfund Sport’ page.
