Jamie is the perfect reflection of the modern bowls player, working full-time in the financial services whilst fitting in her career as a bowls player.
This highly motivated two-time Commonwealth medal winner is another individual who brings an enormous presence to the Squad and will be looking to secure a medal for Team England.
Born in Northampton, Jamie-Lea lives and plays for Kingscroft BC, Leicestershire. She started playing the game at 10, on a grass verge alongside the bowling green at her local club. She joined the local junior division and was able to build on her career.
In a recent interview, she described the complexities of her life of combining work, her love for the sport, and bringing up a new puppy!
She is looking to write a whole new chapter to her Commonwealth story, which began in Dehli in 2010, where she secured bronze in the Triples. Four years later, silver followed in the Pairs in Glasgow.
Jamie will be looking to go one better in Birmingham. Like her England peers, Jamie has a stellar domestic career as a junior and senior with wins in the National Singles and Two-Wood. She culd be celebrating on the greens in Leamington once again this summer.
