Ken Woodcock – Sussex County Bowls

We are saddened to hear of the recent passing of Ken Woodcock. Ken worked tirelessly to promote bowls for a number of decades, particularly to youngsters.

Ken was a former Deputy Chief Executive of the English Bowls Association, held the position of treasurer for the British Isles Bowls Council since 2011 and was a member of the Bowls England Management and Audit Review Committee. His support of youngsters was evident with the assistance offered towards the English Bowls Youth Development Scheme for a number of years.

Ken was President of his county, Sussex, in 2015, as well as being the county association’s Chairman between 2016 and 2019. Our condolences go to wife Yvonne and the rest of Ken’s family and friends.
