On his day, Nick Brett can be the most devastating draw, as proved by his ‘ridiculous’ wonder bowl that vent viral during the 2020 World Indoor Bowls Championships.
Nick’s bowls experience began when he filled in at his father’s club, aged 11. That led Nick to make his international debut at 23 in 1997.
The 47-year old represents Brampton BC, Huntingdon, and has secured an extensive list of domestic titles ranging from National Singles Champion to Mixed Fours Champion.
An unfortunate golf injury side-lined Nick in 2021, so this year is very much Nick’s comeback season.
Building on a quality domestic career, Nick translated this success into the international forum as part of the team that secured European Gold in 2007.
Nick’s blend of domestic and international success marks him out as one of the critical members of the Commonwealth Squad.
