With the brilliant news that bowls is included in the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, a revitalised British Bowls Series and changes to inter-county competitions, it is an exciting time for our England Performance programme. Bowls England believes strongly in the value of its England teams and performance pathway to retain players, increase our sport’s visibility, create new funding, inspires people to get involved and deliver a feeling of pride to the bowls community.

To help achieve this vision, Bowls England is seeking passionate, dedicated, and experienced individuals to join our Performance Management Team. As part of our ongoing commitment to developing world-class talent and enhancing the future of bowls, we are now recruiting for key roles within our performance structure to complement our Performance Strategy.

 

Available Roles:

International Team Managers – Men’s; Women’s; Junior; Para

Responsible for the delivery of the performance programme providing an environment for international players to be best prepared for all competitions and to maximise their potential at events.

Performance Coach
Join our Performance Team, working directly with top players to elevate their performance. This is a unique opportunity to influence the next generation of bowlers competing on the world stage.

International Area Scouts/International Para Scouts

To assist the Performance Director and International Team Managers in the selection of all Bowls England international teams by offering data, advice and insight on the development and performance of the talent pool of bowlers in England.
