Players Nomination for Celebration Matches – 2022 Season
Bowls England is seeking a team of players for the 2022 Celebration Matches who would be proud to represent the Bowls England team at a Celebration Match.
We believe that all the players should be given equal chances to play at one of the most prestigious Matches of Lawn Bowls, i.e the Celebration Matches. Hence, interested players can reach out to their counties to put their nominations through.

How to play in the Celebration Matches:
All Counties are invited to nominate players affiliated with them to play in the Celebration Matches. Should a player wish to take part in the Celebration Match, they should contact their County Administrator, who can then nominate them to play in the Celebration Matches.
Bowls England would expect the nominated players to have achieve at least one of the following
- A National Finalist
- Volunteered within the club / county or National Level
- Dignitaries from counties ex and current roles
- Part of a Club Committee i.e Chairperson / Secretary
- Part of England / High Performance / Junior High Performance player
What happens after the Players are nominated?
Bowls England will get in touch with the players to confirm their selection, request their availability for the Celebration Match and they will also get the chance to apply for the Captain Of The Day roles for the Celebration Matches.
Please note that players nomination forms should be submitted no later than 28th February 2022.
