You will be aware that all Affiliated Clubs and County Associations are required to have a Safeguarding Officer by May 2025. We are delighted to have had nearly 1100 clubs respond to the survey that asked for the status of safeguarding provision; however, we are still anxiously waiting for the remaining 900 clubs to inform us of this status.
This is a requirement for all sports clubs across the country and those that cannot comply may result in the sport of Bowls being unable being able to access funding to support it growth, sustainability and impact in the future. Please remember that we are here to support you in this process, as are your County, so please do ask for advice.
