Bowls England is delighted to announce its first partnership with a FTSE 100 company – St. James’s Place Wealth Management.
The agreement will see St. James’s Place support core bowls development programmes in addition to becoming the title sponsor of two of the headline events at the 2018 National Championships – the Women’s National Triples and Men’s National Fours.
Tony Allcock MBE, Bowls England Chief Executive, said: “I am delighted to announce our partnership with St. James’s Place Wealth Management and thank them for their support. St. James’s Place has been supporting and sponsoring bowls clubs for many years through its nationwide network of financial advisers, many of whom are keen bowlers themselves. To date, more than 100 clubs have benefitted from this and we are confident that by formalising a national relationship we will see that crucial local support continue to grow. To that effect, St. James’s Place has identified working together with county associations as one of its core priorities and further details on this will follow in due course.”
Iain Rayner, Joint Chief Operating Officer at St. James’s Place, added: “We are thrilled to be able to announce our partnership with Bowls England. We have a long-standing history of supporting bowls at the grassroots level and it is a pleasure to have the opportunity to further support the growth of the sport. We very much look forward to working with Bowls England, county associations and local clubs over the coming years in the run up to Birmingham 2022!”
The Bowls England National Championships will be held at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa, from Saturday 4th August to Sunday 2nd September 2018 inclusive.
