Bowls England is delighted to announce its under 25 international squad for 2025 as we continue to develop our performance pathway for younger players.
The selected squad takes into account playing history and performances by junior bowlers at last weekend’s Amy Rose Bowl and White Rose Trophy Inter-County Events.
All members of the squad will attend a training day at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa, on Sunday 8 June, after which the players for the Bowls Europe Under 25 Singles and the teams for the British Bowls Under 25 International Series in September will be selected and announced.
Performance Director Mo Monkton said: “The quality of play at all venues during the Amy Rose Bowl and White Rose Trophy last weekend was of a very high standard, and augurs well for England’s future on the international stage.
“As is usually the case with this age group, the selected squad has a great combination of experience and those who will be new to this level of our sport. We look forward to all of the players performances this coming Sunday as they bid for the right to pull on the England jersey.”
The Bowls Europe Under 25 Singles will be held at Sun BC, Jersey, from Monday 8 to Wednesday 10 September inclusive.
The British Bowls Under 25 International Series will be held at Ayr Northfield BC, Scotland, on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September.
