The World Bowls Championship is the pinnacle of the sport. 12 days of world-class international action and history being made. The first time the event has been hosted in the Northern Hemisphere in over 20 years, this is a once in a generation opportunity to see the greatest bowlers from over 27 nations, compete for their countries on the prestigious Victoria Park greens in Royal Leamington Spa, England.

Day One – Tues 20 Jul

After the Opening Ceremony, a new chapter in the bowls history books begins on Tuesday 20 July 2027, as the World Bowls Championship gets underway with an action-packed opening day. The Women’s Pairs, Men’s Fours, Para Mixed Singles and Para Women’s Pairs teams begin their quest for world glory. Expect plenty of excitement as nations make their first statement on the biggest stage in the sport.

A blockbuster day of bowls awaits, featuring the highly anticipated Women’s Pairs Final and Men’s Fours Final. Will Malaysia defend the Women’s Pairs crown, or can a new duo emerge to claim glory? In the Men’s Fours, Australia set the benchmark by winning gold at the 2023 World Bowls Championships on home soil – but will the greens of Victoria Park have another victor in mind?

FIVE FINALS! Yes, you heard correctly; five finals will be taking place this Super Sunday!  The spotlight will shine on the Men’s Singles Final – Canada’s Ryan Bester claimed a memorable world title last time, can he do it again? Three Para competitions will be decided as Australia will look to grow on their Para successes from 2023.  Other World Championships crowned this Super Sunday will be the Women’s Triples. What a day!

Finals weekend begins with the Men’s Pairs and Women’s Fours champions set to be decided. England will be looking to defend the Women’s Fours title after claiming gold at the previous World Bowls Championships, whilst Ireland’s Gary Kelly and Adam McKeownwill hope to retain their Men’s Pairs world champions title. Play also includes the knockouts for the Women’s Singles, Men’s Triples, Para Men’s Singles and Para Women’s Singles.

The 2027 World Bowls Championship concludes with a spectacular final Finals Day.  New Zealand’s Tayla Bruce will have her eyes on the title as reigning Women’s Singles champion, As the final bowls are delivered, a new chapter of world champions will be written. Other finals include the Men’s Triples, Para Men’s Singles, Para Women’s Singles, and Para Mixed Pairs.
