About Victoria Park
Coined as the Home of English Lawn Bowls, Victoria Park has a rich bowling history.
It boasts five international standard bowling greens, and was host to the Women’s Bowls Championship in 1996 and 2004, and most recently hosted the Bowls and Para Bowls events for Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, where England secured seven medals in one of England’s best medal hauls in Commonwealth Games history.
Victoria Park has also been home to the National All-England Bowls Finals since 1975 for women, with all Bowls England Finals moving to the venue in 2014. Thousands of bowlers up and down the country vye each year for a coveted National Champion title.
Royal Leamington Spa Bowls Club (RLSBC) is the resident club with a rich history spanning from 1909. The club celebrates its traditions while ensuring they continue to modernise. One example is through their expanded playing options to create further inclusivity.
Those wanting to try their hand at the sport at an international venue, or a club near them, can do so by visiting Play-Bowls.com and booking a casual Pay and Play session.
