Four of England’s top young players will receive financial support from SportsAid to support their progress after being nominated by Bowls England.
Charlie Beeton (Felixstowe & Suffolk BC, Suffolk), Rhianna Russell (Welwyn & District BC, Hertfordshire), Oli Collins (Ilminster BC, Somerset) and Lily-Mae Adams (Welford-On-Avon BC, Warwickshire) will each receive a grant of £1,000 to assist them covering the costs of training, travel and competitions over the next 12 months.
All four are currently part of our talent pathway and have already represented Bowls England at Under 18 international level.
Mo Monkton, Bowls England Performance Director, said: “We’re delighted that the players will benefit from this support and thank SportsAid for their continued investment in our top young players. It means they will be able to continue to pursue their ambitions and we hope it helps them to make the most of their talent and potential.”
