Newsletters and Bulletins

Welcome to Bowls England’s Safeguarding Bulletin subscription page.

We, at Bowls England, believe that everyone involved in sport and physical activity, whether as a volunteer, participant, spectator, or elite athlete, deserves to feel safe and free from abuse or harassment. As a committed organization, we are dedicated to safeguarding all individuals who participate in our sport, creating a positive and enjoyable environment for everyone.

We are delighted to provide a monthly Safeguarding Bulletin. Following the excellent feedback we received since our first edition of the Safeguarding Bulletin, we are committed to supporting and guiding you in your role as a Safeguarding Officer within our sport. Our aim is to provide you with useful information and education to help you fulfil your responsibilities. Each bulletin will include a summary of our policies, contact details, and a seven-minute briefing on a key area that you can access online.

If there are any specific areas you would like us to cover in the seven-minute briefing series, please let us know by contacting the key contacts.

As part of our commitment to supporting you, we have produced club resources, including handy posters for your club noticeboard, which are attached to our Safeguarding Bulletins. By subscribing to our newsletter, you will receive further resources to assist you in your role. If you have not already subscribed to our Safeguarding Bulletins you can do so now by clicking the button below and join us in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
