One of Bowls England’s top priorities is to support our communities by delivering and expanding our range of services available to affiliated clubs.

We have teamed up with the Community Heartbeat Trust charity, the UK’s leading provider of defibrillator solutions, to offer all affiliated clubs a choice of high specification defibrillator packages, which includes training and ongoing support.

Why is it important?

More than 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen every year in the UK, with less than 1 in 10 people surviving.  Early CPR and defibrillation can more than double the chances of survival in some cases. Having a defibrillator and appropriate training means club members will know what do if someone has a cardiac arrest at your club and could possibly save a life!
