Bowls England’s Coaching Bursary Scheme assists members of affiliated clubs who wish to obtain a Coach Bowls qualification.

The Bowls England Coaching Bursary offers affiliated members 50 per cent of the cost of recognised Coach Bowls courses. Each application must be supported by the applicants club and the appointed administrator of the relevant County Association that is affiliated to Bowls England.

The criteria enables two members of any affiliated club to apply for a bursary within any two year period – meaning that two members of the same club wishing to attend the same course can apply for funding support.

Any individual affiliated member of Bowls England may apply for financial assistance for up to 50 per cent of the cost of the course. Applicants must be at least 17 years old, and for Coach Bowls Level Two courses and above applicants must hold a recognised Coaching Certificate.
