We are pleased to announce that in response to feedback Bowls’ Big Weekend will run from Friday 26th to Monday 29th May 2023.
The inclusion of the Bank Holiday (Monday 29th May) will provide clubs with greater flexibility to arrange their event and benefit from the national marketing campaign.
More information will be available to clubs early in 2023, however at this stage we encourage you to give some thought to days/times that clubs can put aside to welcome new participants.
In particular, feedback has shown that the most successful clubs have generally concentrated effort on a single event during the period rather than spreading resources across the four days.
The 2022 event generated some incredible feedback from people who had never picked up a bowl before and it is hoped that 2023 will be similarly successful.
