Buckinghamshire duo regain Men’s Senior Pairs

Buckinghamshire’s Dave Labrum and Malc Drage have regained the Men’s National Senior Pairs Competition, supported by the Friends of English Bowling.

The 2017 champions defeated Herefordshire’s Martin Smith and Mark Atkins 22-15 in this afternoon’s final at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa.

Labrum and Drage recorded a 16-13 semi-final victory over Hertfordshire’s Chris Sheriff and Phil Russell, with Smith and Atkins beating Surrey’s Phil Pugh and Kevin Clarke by the same scoreline.

Semi-Finals:
Herefordshire (Martin Smith and Mark Atkins) bt Surrey (Phil Pugh and Kevin Clarke) 16-13;
Buckinghamshire (Dave Labrum and Malc Drage) bt Hertfordshire (Chris Sheriff and Phil Russell) 16-13.

Final:
Buckinghamshire (Dave Labrum and Malc Drage) bt Herefordshire (Martin Smith and Mark Atkins) 22-15

Entry to the championships is free of charge. Chargeable parking is available in Victoria Park and in nearby town centre car parks.
