The expert panel for the Awards Night met on Thursday 8th December to conclude their shortlist of nominees and today we are delighted to announce the shortlist.
A significant amount of nominations had been made across all the different awards, showcasing the brilliant work that is happening throughout the bowls community. The expert panel did an incredible job to go through every single application in detail and they were very inspired by everyone’s contributions and achievements in our sport.
The shortlisting process was very difficult with lots of tough decisions made over which nominees should be shortlisted for this year’s Awards as, in our eyes, every single nominee deserves praise and recognition for what they have achieved.

Over the next few weeks, we will be doing various communications over our social media channels and in our newsletters celebrating our shortlisted candidates.
Fit for the Future and the Unsung Hero awards, will be decided by an online vote that will open week commencing 9th January.
For Certificate of Merit, the winners will be announced on the evening.
The night promises to be a glittering evening celebrating the great contribution made by counties, clubs, umpires, players and volunteers in the sport and a memorable social occasion with amazing food, live music and of course great company.
