Brentwood Bowling Club members have enjoyed a highly-successful Coaching Roadshow with the expert team from the Essex Bowls Coaches Association (EBCA).

The all-day Roadshow, under the watchful eye of Essex County coach Trevor Plank and his six qualified assistants, was attended by 35 enthusiastic club members at their headquarters in King George’s Playing Fields in Brentwood on Saturday 4th May.

The members, ranging from complete beginners to players of County standard, received coaching in delivery and stance, tactics, warm-up exercises and types of group and solo practice.

The event was organised by Peter Smith, the Brentwood BC qualified coach, who said: “It was a great day and I must thank Trevor and his team for making the experience so instructional and entertaining. I am sure our members benefitted greatly from the expert advice they received.”
