During Round One of the Women’s Triples Championship on 13th August 2023, one of the broadcast cameras fell onto the green. No-one was injured in the process.

A decision was made not to continue with the streaming whilst we discuss this matter with our external TV production company and receive the necessary assurances that this will not happen again. Our supplier has now reassessed the risk and implemented a series of mitigations, including significant additional weighting to the structures.

The safety of everyone in the venue is our primary focus and, in the event of reaching advised adverse weather levels or these mitigations not being met, the streaming service will be suspended.
